Why did I open an art supply store?

So, my pronouns are Artist and Mom…I believe a friend of my sons, in high school, corrected me…those are “xeno pronouns” not even sure if I got that right? I’m not sure about a lot of things lately,  but I am about my art and Art supplies…and if I have a question, I have found local artists, my distributers, teens, you tube and google to be a glorious source of knowledge!  Also,  just old-fashioned testing and research! I love art and art supplies, all kinds!

If quarantine and Covid has taught me anything it’s having quality time with the people, I love doing what I love is important!

My hours are limited (to Tue-Fri, 10-4, I am open and, in the studio/store.) because I am a mom of 3 wonderful young men who are growing up way to fast, but I am completely open to appointments! Don’t hesitate to call me! We can find a time that works.

Also, this might sound like an oxymoron being an artist, but I believe in doing my best to help the environment. How many times have you ordered something online and it didn’t give you the result you were looking for? Then it ends up in your junk drawer then eventually a land fill… I think getting the right art supplies and knowing how to use them, dispose of them and their byproducts is my obligation to the environment. We are all learning, everyday!

If you have art supplies, you no longer want and don’t know what to do with. Bring them to me. I can connect an art teacher, docent, or senior center that can put it to good use.

I have a small place, but I carry what I consider to be high quality materials for serious artists and those wanting to start their journey in art but aren’t sure of where to start. If I don’t have it, I can either order it for you or tell you where to find it.

I hate when I go in a store and find things so much more expensive then online, I can tell you this is not the case at my shore. I have extremely competitive pricing and can answer all the confusing questions you might have about art supplies…If I don’t know the answer, I know a host of local talent that will…Also you can test some of the supplies if you are unsure. Finding the right product the first time saves money, time, the environment and your well being!

I often get customers looking for Art Classes…If you are teaching art classes, please, come by with your class list, schedule, and flyers. I have a wall where you can advertise, and I can help you and your students find the right supplies at a great deal. If you are a student, tell your teacher about me!

I give discounts to local teachers and their students, and to current members of the Woodinville Arts Alliance!

Working together we can do better! Let’s create something amazing!
